The problem I solved

Businesses advertising on Meta Ads Manager were flying blind, as they had no safe way to test changes before committing them. This new feature created a new way for advertisers to test changes in a small part of their campaigns, before applying them.

I designed this two ways: first, using standard UX methods, then using AI-based tools to design an AI agent that did the work.

The project is currently in a closed Alpha test with a small group of customers. We expect it to be successful. Once it launches, the projected business impact is:

  • +17% testing stickiness — advertisers come back and run more tests

  • +24% more advertisers running tests — opening a new market for experimentation

  • +19% well-powered tests — increasing advertiser trust in results

  • +0.027% new revenue — approximately $4.8B per year at Meta's scale
